A short note to myself about discount coupons on LCSC. Contrary to other JLC sites, on LCSC coupon amount must be lower than the cost of the shopping cart. On other sites, e.g. JLCPCB, you can apply a higher cost coupon to your order, unused sum will be wasted. LCSC factors in coupons on the fly, even before checking out, so after your cart gets more expensive then the coupon you have (only components are considered, not shipping), the price is reduced immediatey by the coupon amount. The coupon for components (e.g. th one you can get on Oshwlab) cannot be used to reduce shipping cost. There doesn’t seem to be a way to choose the coupon if you have more than one applicable.

At the time of the order there were some public coupons on shipping ($5 for order of $30, $8 for order of $50, etc). They stack with components coupons, and applying coupons to reduce cart cost does not remove the shipping discount.

Here I used $40 coupon from oshwlab, exchanged from points, and $5 shipping coupon that was the system gives to everyone
